Our Humble Beginnings
The Equaline brand was born in 1985 in Bentonville, Arkansas as a private label offering exclusive to Walmart stores. Our goal was simple – make healthcare affordable without sacrificing quality. We started with just a handful of products, including acetaminophen, ibuprofen, allergy medicines, antacids and supplements.
Even though we were a small startup brand, we partnered with reputable third-party manufacturers and upheld the highest standards. We conducted rigorous quality testing on all products to ensure safety, purity and potency.
Growth and Expansion
Over the years, Equaline has grown into one of the largest private label health and wellness brands in the country. Today we offer over 400 products spanning categories such as pain relief, cough & cold, digestive health, eye care, first aid, pediatrics, personal care, diabetes care, sleep aids and more.
Our products are available exclusively at over 4,700 Walmart stores nationwide as well as online at Walmart.com. We’ve become a trusted household brand, with 9 out of 10 Walmart customers recognizing the Equaline name.
Equaline has expanded internationally as well. We can be found at Walmart stores in Mexico, Canada, Argentina and Chile, with additional global growth on the horizon.

True to our origins, Equaline has remained dedicated to making quality healthcare affordable. Our prices are up to 50% less than comparable national brand products.
We understand that budgets are tight, especially when it comes to medical costs. We aim to provide effective remedies without breaking the bank. A month’s supply of our pain relief capsules costs a fraction of what you would pay for a name brand alternative. Our blood glucose test strips help diabetics test regularly without draining their wallets.
Affordability doesn’t have to mean lower standards. We hold all Equaline products to the same strict quality guidelines as national brands costing twice as much or more. Our customers can feel confident knowing they are getting exceptional value for their money.

We conduct extensive testing at multiple stages of production. Raw ingredients are evaluated for purity before being used in any formulation. Finished products undergo thorough lab testing to verify potency and dissolution. We examine stability and shelf life. Nothing goes to market before successfully passing all quality control measures.

We avoid unnecessary additives and use natural components when possible. Our melatonin tablets, for example, contain just one ingredient – USP-grade melatonin.

Courtney Johnson, President
Courtney brings 25 years of retail and consumer health experience. She previously led private brands for major chains like CVS and Rite Aid. Her vision and business acumen fuel Equaline’s growth.
Rajesh Patel, VP Product Development
Rajesh pioneered our entry into specialty categories like diabetes care. He holds a Master’s in Pharmaceutical Sciences and leads formulation of new products.
Monica Davis, VP Quality Assurance
Monica ensures diligent quality control across our suppliers. She previously managed quality at Johnson & Johnson and holds a Six Sigma Black Belt certification.
Sandeep Arora, Chief Marketing Officer
Sandeep builds the Equaline brand through insightful consumer research and creative campaigns. He is passionate about making healthcare accessible.

The Equaline Healthy Futures Project provides grants to community health centers across the country. We have donated over $5 million to provide screenings, health education and treatment to underserved populations.
Our annual Clear the Shelters event sponsors animal shelter adoption fees to help find homes for rescued pets. We proudly covered fees for over 20,000 adoptions last year.
